La Posada de Somo Villas y Suites is a new country hotel located 300 metres away from Somo Beach.

Our beautiful new hotel is surrounded by a centennial stone wall.

Outside, old stones, chestnut and oak wood, natural limes and all the charm of our traditional architecture. Inside, daring and contemporary furniture joins traditional materials, looking for that warm romantic touch to make your stay something special.

The five villas and suites are about 33 m2, and have garden and private porch and private dining service in the room.

• Villa 2 Emphasizes a beautiful capitone-leather king-size bed and large rectangular jacuzzi for 2.

• Villa 3 With a beautiful bamboo king-size bed and XXL circular jacuzzi.

• Villa 4 Precious solid wood furniture and large rectangular jacuzzi for 2.

• Villa 5 XXL circular stone jacuzzi and amazing decor.

• Suite 7 XXL circular jacuzzi lined with wood, spectacular canopy bed, scenic views and huge windows.

• Suite 8 XXL circular jacuzzi lined with wood, cozy decoration combining wood and aged leather, nice views and huge windows.

• Suite10 features its wood wrought and combination of leather and wood decor. XXL round stone jacuzzi.
• La Casa de Don Pablo. This over-60m2 apartment is the largest room in the house. Comprising two bedrooms, a living room with kitchenette, bathroom and private garden. Ideal for families and couples seeking a higher level of privacy. Warm decor with a predominance of wood.

Location:

Staying at Somo allows you to reach the main tourist attractions such as Santillana del Mar, Santander, fishing Village, Pas Valley, Cabárceno, etc. in just a few minutes.

Approximate distance to different places of interest:
• Somo Beach 350 meters
• 20 minutes away from Santander and Cabárceno Park
• 30 minutes away from Santillana del Mar, Comillas, Ruente.
• 50 minutes away from Picos de Europa, source of the Ebro River, Soplao Caves, Guggenheim Museum.

We strongly recommend our local cuisine, fresh fish from the Cantabrian Sea, good meat and stews, and very good value for money.

Somo has one of the most attractive wider coastlines in Spain: dotted with cliffs and beautiful coves.

A five minute walk from La Posada is Somo beach. A 6-km beach of fine white sand. From here you can start a long walk to discover beautiful beaches dunes and down to beaches in Loredo.
The more adventurous can continue the route through a spectacular cliff down to Langre Beach, possibly the prettiest in Cantabria.

Also, you can enjoy rolling hills, cornfields, groves, estuaries, trails that lead to large pastures, allowing excellent tours in a magnificent natural environment.
