Los Laureles is an ideal place to relax and unwind. It has a large garden with barbecue and furniture for a pleasant evening and enjoy excellent views of the Valle del Corneja.

It is a two-storey:

• Six bedrooms - two single and four double - two with king size beds, and two with two twin beds. Spacious, exterior and perfectly conditioned and illuminated, also they all have bed & bath linens.
• Three full bathrooms.
• Living room with access to terrace.
• A viewpoint towards the valley.
• Living room kitchen with fireplace.
• Large garden.

Besides all this, bed and bath linens are provided, as well as all the necessary utensils for cooking and welcome kit.

It has been carefully decorated in stone and wood finishes, which makes it a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the village.

It is equipped with all the necessary kitchen utensils, as well as bed and bath linens. Besides this, in the house you can find two cots, fireplace, terrace, living room with TV, garden, garden furniture, barbecue and of course, hot water and heating for winter. Also a welcome kit including a wide range of products.

Environment & Activities Los Laureles

Location:

It is located in the old quarter of Piedrahita. Still, its privileged situation allows you to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the surroundings.

Piedrahita is located in the Valley of the Corneja River, and close to the Puero de Peña Negra and the Sierra de Gredos. In these places you can do multiple sports such as paragliding, hang-gliding, hiking, biking, etc. Other noteworthy places are Ermita de Virgen de la Vega or the Jura mountain, Cerro de la Cruz, places famous for the historic events that took place in them.

In the village of Piedrahita, you can enjoy a variety of attractions such as the Palace of the Dukes of Alba (a school now), Iglesia de Santa Maria la Mayor, (former palace of Queen Berenguela de Castilla), where there is a museum of ancient liturgical and ecclesiastical objects. Also the ruins of the convent of Santo Domingo, founded in 1203 by the Dukes of Alba, some members of this family are buried in the chapel of the convent that has undergone several landslides and reconstructions throughout history. The Torreón, Muslim watchtower, the house where the Duke of Alba Don Fernando Alvarez de Toledo was born, the arcaded main square of the medieval period, the bullring, the Carmelite convent, remains of the old medieval wall surrounding the villa and other houses built in stone where you can see various shields belonging to the ancient nobility of the town.
